Print Operator (3rd Shift) - Temp-to-Perm

Pay : $19.00 / hour

Schedule : 11 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM (3rd shift)

Type : Temp-to-Perm (may require initial training on a different shift)

Overview

Join a high-volume production team operating a Xerox fleet to print time-sensitive compliance-driven documents (banking mutual funds transportation healthcare) and checks. Youll balance multiple devices maintain quality and meet client SLAs especially during month-end quarter-end and year-end peaks.

What Youll Do

  • Operate multiple production printers : Xerox Nuvera 288 / 157 Versant Baltoro Inkjet Trivor Inkjet and 1300 C / F lines .
  • Process transaction statements and secure print jobs; prioritize work to meet client SLAs .
  • Partner with Scheduling and Operations; work within FLEX and OOM workflows.
  • Perform preventive maintenance calibration and routine quality checks; identify and escalate malfunctions.
  • Monitor equipment continuously to ensure optimal performance and output integrity.
  • Follow SOPs and work instructions; complete all logs and production documentation accurately.
  • Review materials for print quality registration pagination and completeness.
  • Troubleshoot issues promptly and communicate status to leads / managers.

What Youll Bring

  • Experience operating or supporting production print equipment (or strong mechanical / technical aptitude).
  • Ability to handle multiple devices and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Detail-oriented with solid basic math skills; comfortable working independently.
  • Clear verbal and written communication ; diligent with documentation and SOP compliance.

    • Preferred

  • Hands-on experience with Xerox production devices (Nuvera Versant Baltoro Trivor 1300 C / F lines).
  • Familiarity with FLEX and OOM systems.
  • Background printing transactional / secure documents (e.g. statements checks).

    • Physical & Work Conditions

  • Standing / walking for most of the shift; frequent bending / stooping; ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs .
  • Reliability for peak periods (month-end / quarter-end / year-end) and occasional overtime.
  • May begin with training on a different shift before moving to 3rd shift.
