Physician Assistant

Job Description

Under the general supervision of the Department and in clinical collaboration with a physician, the Physician Assistant provides comprehensive health care, determines and delivers primary care, engages in health and mental health screening and disease prevention. Supervision, consultation and teaching / training maybe provided to nursing, counseling, and other health care professionals.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Education Required

4 Years College

2 Years Physician Assistant School

B.S. or B.A. Degree

New York State License as Registered Physician Assistant DEA Registration

Experience : Skills :

Willing to Train

General knowledge of : Blood work, l.V. insertion, arterial punctures, nasal gastric tubes, history and physical taking, must be familiar with various medications.
