Job Description

L3Harris Technologies is looking for a dynamic leader to assume the Quality Director role within its Communication Systems segment. This leader should bring a proven track record of developing departmental strategy and vision to ensure adherence with customer expectations, defining and promoting a zero-defect culture, and building high-performing quality organizations. In addition, this leader should be enthusiastic, decisive, and results-oriented with a collaborative approach to meet challenges.

Essential Functions :

• Communicate a vision and align the organization around strategic quality improvement. Foster a diverse, high-performing, and actively engaged quality organization.
• Facilitate and implement strategic quality management objectives, such as the implementation of APQP / PPAP, SPC, RCCA processes, etc., to achieve step-level quality metric performance improvement at all sites.
• Work with cross-functional leadership to identify best practices and implement them across product quality, supplier quality, and business process quality to drive customer satisfaction and meet internal quality objectives.
• Develop and implement a Quality Management System robust enough to meet business objectives and ensure product conformance to customer requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and business processes; and regulatory standards.
• Provide direct and indirect leadership to build a high-performing and actively engaged quality organization.
• Ability to obtain a US secret clearance

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 15 years prior experience, Graduate Degree with 13 years prior experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience. Minimum 10 years experience of quality leadership.

Preferred Additional Skills :

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $143,000 - $265,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
