Sr Estimator - Self Perform General Contractor - Long Island

Our well established, self-performing General Contractor client is seeking a skilled Sr Estimator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering high quality work across commercial and public works projects but also values the opportunity to grow into a department leadership role.

What You’ll Do :

• Prepare detailed estimates and competitive bids for commercial and public works projects
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates
• Collaborate with project managers, field staff, and the leadership team to ensure accuracy and alignment with execution strategy
• Conduct quantity take-offs using Bluebeam and Excel
• Communicate clearly and effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
• Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation for all bids and proposals
• Support value engineering and alternate solutions when applicable
