Overview
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Systems Administrator with an active Secret clearance to provide Windows administration for Windows Server 2012 / 2016, server monitoring, and troubleshooting in physical and virtual environments. This position will be located in El Paso, Texas and will be a fully remote position.
Responsibilities
- Serve as technical lead for a team of System Administrators.
- Collaborate with management to understand system needs.
- Recommend configurations to meet customer needs and document builds for approval.
- Administer large-scale Windows-based environments, commercial off-the-shelf applications, and government-developed enterprise applications.
- Administer and maintain enterprise management software.
- Provide Windows administration for Windows Server 2012 / 2016, server monitoring, and troubleshooting in physical and virtual environments.
- Configure, manage, and monitor Windows Internet Information Services (IIS) applications.
- Administer Linux and / or UNIX Operating Systems.
- Apply knowledge of database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, SQL queries, and scripting.
- Use Agile methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe.
- Provide Windows System Administration including Group Policy management, AD replication, AD PowerShell commands, LDAP queries, and Active Directory Service Interface Editor (ADSIEdit).
- Configure and manage virtual infrastructure technologies, including VMware and Hyper-V.
- Work with network monitoring tools such as ServiceNow, SolarWinds, and / or ScienceLogic SL1.
Qualifications
High School with 10+ years systems administration (or commensurate experience).Secret Clearance with ability to obtain and hold DEA suitability.
