ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer to join our IT organization as we modernize and scale our cloud infrastructure. This role will play a critical part in executing our multi-account AWS strategy using Control Tower Landing Zone and driving automation through Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and CI / CD pipelines in GitHub actions.

The ideal candidate will assist in transforming our application stack by migrating from traditional web servers to AWS serverless infrastructure using Lambda as well as migrating existing workloads and resources into new AWS accounts. They will also support both Windows and Linux environments work across a broad set of AWS services and collaborate closely with development teams using Python Angular and React.

Managers need someone experienced in designing and deploying AWS Workspaces in mid- to large-scale environments.

Must have

Must have experience IAC Infrastructure as a code Terraform

Using Terraform to automate IAC Infrastructure as a Code to automate ECS instances (containers)

They need help migrating from ec2 to ecs

Needs to have Desktop as a service he said we can also look up VDI

Desktop as a Service (DaaS) / Cloud Desktop / VDI

REQUIRED SKILLS :

• Advanced knowledge of cloud technologies and cloud infrastructure
• Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with AWS Landing Zones and Control Tower
• Hands-on experience deploying Desktop as a Service solution like Amazon Workspaces
• Advanced proficiency with Linux and Windows administration in cloud environments
• Hands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI / CD automation
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services including but not limited to EC2 ECS VPC IAM RDS S3 ELB WAF Lambda Transit Gateway and Cloud WAN
• Experience supporting MSSQL MySQL and PostgreSQL in production environments
• Scripting and automation skills
• Familiarity with Angular Python and React to support integration with infrastructure
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
