Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Assistant responsible for performing duties under the direction of a physician to assist in the examination and treatment of patients. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or its equivalent, good telephone communication skills, knowledge of medical terminology, medical procedures, and clerical functions. Current CPR card, PPD or chest X-ray, and health certificate are required if applicable. Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program is necessary, with certification preferred. Minimum of one year relevant experience is preferred. Relevant certification / license if applicable. Must be at least 18 years of age.
