Job Description Position Purpose : The Senior Financial Analyst ensures timely and accurate financial reporting, supports monthly closings, and drives budgeting and forecasting activities. He / she analyzes costs by team and category, track actuals vs. budget, and highlight variances. By consolidating data from systems SAP and PeopleSoft, he / she provides a clear financial view. He / she acts as a finance partner, helping business teams planning, controlling, and optimizing their spending. Primary Duties / Responsibilities : Support a robust and efficient monthly closing process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Ensure data accuracy and integrity in financial systems. Contribute to the consolidation and alignment of SAP S4 and PeopleSoft data to provide a unified financial view. Deliver detailed cost analysis by team and by cost type, including labor (FTEs, contractors) and non-labor expenses (consulting, licenses, hardware, etc.). Provide clear visibility on incurred expenses to support cost control and informed decision-making. Prepare regular financial dashboards and KPIs to support management's understanding of business performance. Streamline reporting workflows and contribute to the automation of key finance processes to reduce manual intervention and accelerate report production. Identify process gaps and propose improvements based on system capabilities and cross-functional coordination. Act as a business advisor by supporting operational teams in managing and optimizing their budgets through insightful financial guidance. Support annual budget and quarterly reforecast processes by consolidating inputs and analyzing deviations. Perform variance analysis between actuals, forecasts, and budgets to identify key trends and provide actionable recommendations. Work with Corporate Finance to reconcile financial data and ensure consistency of reported figures. Monitor financial risks and opportunities to proactively alert stakeholders and support decision-making. Qualifications Education / Experience / Background : Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's or MBA is a plus). 2 to 5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, corporate finance, or management reporting. Strong understanding of accounting principles. Experience with ERP and financial systems (e.g., SAP, PeopleSoft). Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI,) is a plus. Prior experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in a corporate environment. Familiarity with consolidation processes and reconciliations. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities : Strong grasp of financial statements and key performance indicators (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow). Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, financial modeling); proficiency with Google Sheets is a plus. Ability to analyze large data sets and synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights. Strong business acumen and understanding of operational cost drivers. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Attention to detail, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
