FOCUSPOINT is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to support the accounting team of a healthcare client. This contract role is ideal for professionals with a strong foundation in financial accounting and a passion for operational excellence. The selected candidate will play a key role in preparing and analyzing financial data, supporting audits, and maintaining reporting systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, account analyses, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare monthly reconciliations with supporting documentation
• Review and process Accounts Payable transactions, including Referral Source Check Requests
• Assist with tax work papers, cost reports, and audit documentation
• Monitor shared inbox and respond to internal and external inquiries professionally and promptly
• Maintain daily reporting systems and ensure data integrity
• Uphold confidentiality and compliance with organizational policies
• Support additional accounting tasks as assigned
