Overview
A lovely family in Westchester County, NY is seeking an experienced, professional, and flexible newborn care specialist for a 3 month contract, starting end of May / first week of June. The schedule will be 20 / 7 for 3 months with an option to extend to 4 months. Their priority will be implementing a schedule / routine for the baby and eventually sleep training.
Responsibilities
- Care and engagement of the baby including but not limited to sleep, feeding, and routine management.
- Light housekeeping related to the baby, which will include keeping baby's spaces organized, clean, and tidy and sanitizing any toys or feeding items including bottles, pump parts, etc.
- Communicating with the parents about milestones, activities, temperament, and needs and collaborating with them on care.
- Prioritizing the safety and well-being of the baby at all times
- Provide professional guidance as it pertains to baby care while respecting the family’s personal preferences
- Encourage healthy sleep habits and follow safe sleep guidelines
