Long Term Locum coverage needed in Virginia

Location : Richmond, VA

Duration : Ongoing while hiring

Board Certification : Board Certified Pediatrics and Neonatology

Unit : Level III, 41 bedded NICU, Normally run two thirds to 80% of capacity.

Schedule : Shifts are 7 : 30a-5 : 30p, 5p-8a (24 hour shifts are available from 7 : 30a-7 : 30a); attend all high risk deliveries with nurse and resp therapist.

Back up : Great subspecialty backup including Peds surgery, cardiology, neurology, and genetics among others. Experienced nursing staff.

Shift Responsibility : 12 Babylog regular ventilators, 2 jet ventilators and 1 oscillator. We do Nitric, body cooling, as well as all surgeries except cardiac surgeries. We do however do PDA ligations in the unit. Do NOT do ECMO.

License Requirement : Active Virginia license needed

Privileges : 90-120 days
