EPIC Trained Admins

Long and short term temporary opportunities, within the medical field, for candidates with a medical background who have been trained in the Epic Scheduling System. Work for some of NYC’s cutting edge hospitals and healthcare facilities. Positions exist for medical administrative assistants (both junior and senior level) as well as medical receptionists, registrars and surgical schedulers. You will work directly with patients and physicians as well as supporting various staff members.

Responsibilities : Insurance Verification Obtaining Pre-Certifications for Surgeries and Testing Surgical Scheduling Maintaining Patient Charts Scheduling Patient Appointments Qualifications : 1-2 years professional experience in a healthcare facility Comfortable with Medical Terminology Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with physicians, patients and staffs as well as written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
