Job Title : Remote Senior Financial Analyst

Location : Remote (based in Salt Lake City, UT)

Employment Type : Full-time, Salary Exempt

Compensation : Up to $100K annually (This is a contract role)

Location : Applicants need to be residing in Utah to be considered for this role.

About the Role

Were looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to take ownership of full-cycle Accounts Receivable and a wide range of accounting and finance functions. This is a hands-on role where youll have a direct impact on revenue recognition, financial reporting, forecasting, audits, and equity administration.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing detail-oriented accounting work with broader financial analysis and modeling, while thriving in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

What Youll Do

• Manage full-cycle AR : billing, collections, credits, and reconciliations
• Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations (deferred revenue, payroll, sales tax, commissions, accruals)
• Validate revenue recognition against customer terms and POs
• Support audits and act as liaison with external auditors
• Prepare and update weekly cash forecasts and assist in annual budgeting / forecasting
• File and pay sales, use, and property taxes across states
• Handle payroll accounting for both domestic and international employees
• Track and calculate commissions, bonuses, and accruals
• Administer quarterly equity grants and assist with annual insurance renewals
• Build financial models to support decision-making
• Cross-train across accounting functions to support team coverage
