What You'll Do

Develops CNA competencies through hands-on experience in a clinical setting. Supports the CNA and Nursing staff while preparing to become a CNA through learning on the job, and fulfilling certification requirements.

Location - AFC Workforce Center

This position is part of the Workforce Center, a dedicated team of employees who provide flexible staffing support across multiple communities. Workforce Center employees help ensure seamless coverage during vacations, extended leaves, and staffing shortages. This role is assignment-based and training will be provided.

Pay Range : $17.00 - $19.00

Qualifications

Education / Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations

Current State of Hawaii Nurse Aide certificate. Current First Aid and CPR certificate.

Computer Skills

Proficiency in using a computer, which may include using such software as Vision or Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) and other applicable software applications.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; push and pull. The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
