About Our Unit :
Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit , where you will care for a diverse and complex patient population including :
Post-operative craniotomies for bleed evacuation, AVMs, and tumor resectionsCervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeriesPatients experiencing hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes as part of our Comprehensive Stroke ProgramHigh volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients, along with medical overflow casesYour Role :

Assess patient needs, plan individualized care, and involve patients and families in care decisions.Monitor significant changes in patient conditions and collaborate with healthcare teams for coordinated care.Implement patient safety strategies and educate patients and families.Coordinate discharge planning using an interdisciplinary approach.Evaluate patient and team outcomes to continuously improve care standards.Communicate effectively and collaborate with team members.Qualifications :
Current Registered Nurse license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Completion of an accredited nursing program.Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.Skills Needed :
Holistic patient care with a patient and family focus.Ability to respond confidently to situational changes.Proficient in computer skills and electronic medical record systems.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Physical Requirements :
