Raulli & Sons, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Safety Director to join our leadership team. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining a best-in-class safety culture across our facilities and field operations. The Safety Director will provide strategic vision, ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT standards, reduce risk, and drive continuous improvement in workplace safety and employee well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead company-wide safety strategy aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.
• Provide leadership to the Shop Safety Manager and mentor site / field safety representatives.
• Serve as the primary liaison with OSHA, DOT, DEC, and other regulatory agencies.
• Oversee DOT / FMCSA programs including driver qualification, vehicle inspections, and accident reporting.
• Develop and enforce safety programs such as JHAs, fall protection, confined space, and lockout / tagout.
• Establish and track safety KPIs such as incident rate reduction, compliance scores, and near-miss reporting.
• Design and deliver engaging training programs that exceed OSHA requirements.
• Lead emergency response planning, drills, and serve as Emergency Coordinator.
• Partner with HR to integrate safety into onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement.

Work Environment

This position operates across fabrication shops and field job sites, requiring a strong presence in both environments. The role involves exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, and moving equipment. Proper PPE is required.
