If so, being an Entry-Level Business Analyst in our Dallas Metro at CGI could be the ideal opportunity for you!

You will work day-to-day to provide expertise for our clients in the commercial sector to enhance the quality of their business and technological products and services. Business Analysts are critical in enabling our clients to make business decisions. In this role, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team while individually contributing to project deliverables that meet our clients’ needs. Our team works hard to provide creative solutions to those who need it, but we also have fun exploring opportunities and stretching our capabilities.

This position is located in Dallas, TX in a hybrid working model.

Your future duties and responsibilities :

How you’ll make an impact

  • What you’ll do : (assignments may include responsibilities in one or more of the following areas) :
  • Develop knowledge of a client’s industry, customers, organization and business objectives
  • Solve interesting problems to build or improve a system
  • Assess user requirements, procedures and problems
  • Provide quality client support by answering questions and encouraging communication
  • Make data driven recommendations regarding business issues and resource allocation
  • Assess how well a product meets usability and ability to meet business needs
  • You’ll become an expert on a client’s industry, customers, organization, and business objectives.
  • Work alongside thought leaders to solve complex and critical challenges for our clients.
  • Educate and learn from other team members to upskill in various technologies and industries
  • Presenting, meetings, requirements gathering, stakeholder interviews, data conversions and mappings, process documentation, process reengineering, road mapping, testing
  • Participate in business development and proposals on an ad hoc basis

  • Preferred qualifications :

  • Familiarity or experience with SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
  • Familiarity or experience in data analytics, data manipulation / querying, and / or data visualization
  • Familiarity or experience with specific software / tools (e.g. SQL, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience with Office Suite
  • Understanding of project management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, etc.)
  • Passion for continuously learning new technologies and developing own knowledge and expertise
  • All majors are encouraged to apply! BA, BS, BSBA, or MS in Management, MIS, CIS, Computer Science, Information Technology Management, Finance, or related field / experience recommended. Requires the ability to work in the U.S. for an indefinite period of time.
