Our client is looking to hire a .NET Developer. The primary purpose will be to provide applications development and support for various UI-related applications, with a primary focus on the SUITES Benefits, Claimant Portal Worker Portal and UIB.Net applications. Candidates will play an integral role on self-directed work teams in support of high priority development projects. The .NET Developer will develop and support of critical priority applications on the Tax / Employer side of Unemployment Insurance application processing. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required : Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent analytical / problem solving skills NOTE : Candidate must be a CURRENT WI resident. No relocation allowed. This position can work 100% remote (within the state of WI). DWD prefers that the selected hire resides in the greater Madison area. The contractor must be available to work onsite in DWD Madison WI headquarters if needed, at DWD's request, including consecutive weekdays or extended periods, without reimbursement for travel, lodging, or parking expenses. Location : Madison, WI (100% Remote with occasional on-site requirements in Madison, WI) Contract : 1 year

Skills Required :

• 12+ years - Experience in ASP .NET with at least 3 years in .NET Core 2
• 10+ years - Experience with Oracle / DB2
• 10+ years - Experience with WCF - Windows Communication
• 5 years - Object Oriented Design experience
• 8 years - Web and client-server application development experience, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, implementation, and support
• 5 years - Experience / understanding of project management methodologies and experience with 'agile'
• 5 years - MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience
• 5 years - Oracle SQL Tuning
• 8 years - VB.NET experience
• 5 years - Team Foundation Server experience
• 5 years - Oracle PL-SQL experience
• 5 years - Oracle SQL experience
• 5 years - Documenting Requirements / Analysis / Gathering experience
• 5 years - Execution and Documentation of Regression, System & User Acceptance Test Plans, Test Scenarios and Test Results for a Large Mainframe System
• 5 years - Experience as a developer in a large, very complex organization
