job_description.job_card.job_descriptionDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school Completion of an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry residency program Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry Active, unrestricted medical license in the State of Texas Current DEA registration; DEA-X waiver strongly preferred Experience in crisis psychiatry or acute behavioral health settings Proficiency with telehealth technology and electronic health records (EHRs) Availability for evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts Strong clinical judgment, decision-making, and documentation skills Perform remote psychiatric evaluations for adult patients in crisis Initiate and manage medication treatment plans Respond to consultation requests within 15 minutes during active shifts Collaborate with on-site clinicians to ensure coordinated care and patient stabilization Accurately document all encounters in the electronic health record (EHR) Maintain compliance with all HIPAA, state, and federal guidelines
