Location : SF Bay Area (Occasional travel to Mexico required)

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Deployment Engineer with expertise in Mellanox technologies and network deployments . This role focuses on the design, implementation, and support of network solutions, ensuring optimal performance across client infrastructures. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Mellanox products , a strong grasp of networking concepts, and the ability to troubleshoot complex network environments. Bilingual Spanish / English skills are preferred but not required. Occasional travel to Mexico is necessary.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, plan, and deploy network solutions using Mellanox hardware and technologies .
Experience with Cumulus OS, OSPF, BGP, and campus WAN is a MUST.
Configure, test, and support InfiniBand and Ethernet solutions , ensuring high performance.
Work closely with clients to understand project needs and recommend tailored networking solutions.
Perform on-site installations, configurations, and troubleshooting as required.
Monitor and maintain deployed networks, ensuring high availability and reliability .
Provide technical training and knowledge transfer to client teams for ongoing support.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues , maintaining clear documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, support, project management) to streamline deployments.
Travel occasionally to Mexico to support on-site deployments.

Requirements :

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

3+ years of experience in network engineering or deployment , with a focus on Mellanox technologies.

Hands-on experience with InfiniBand, Ethernet solutions, Mellanox hardware , and networking tools .

Strong understanding of networking protocols, configuration, and troubleshooting .

Proficiency in Mellanox OFED, SwitchX, Spectrum , and related technologies.

Bilingual Spanish / English preferred but not required.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to travel occasionally to Mexico for project-based assignments.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with automation tools and scripting ( Python, Ansible, etc. ) for deployment efficiency.

Familiarity with additional networking hardware and technologies (Cisco, Juniper, etc.).

Relevant network engineering certifications (CCNA, CCNP, etc.) are a plus.
