Job Title : Certified Nursing Assistant

Location : Decatur, GA (VAMC)

Salary : $15-21 / hr

Job Summary : We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our team at a reputable medical facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings and possess a passion for providing exceptional patient care.

Duties : - Assist nursing staff with patient care activities- Provide basic patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse- Perform tasks such as vital signs monitoring, bathing, and feeding patients- Support patients with activities of daily living- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment

Experience : The ideal candidate should have experience in the following areas : - Working in a Level I Trauma Center or Teaching Hospital- Medication administration and Emergency Medicine procedures- Caregiving in various settings such as Medical Offices or Hospice Care facilities- Experience working with children or in Acute Care settings

Requirements : - Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or relevant healthcare certification- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
