Job Description

Machine Operator – Food Production Environment

Openings on 2nd and 3rd Shift

Starting at $21-$25 / hr Based On Experience and Shift

What You’ll Do

Set up and operate production equipment
Perform line changeovers and equipment adjustments
Sample product for quality control checks
Maintain equipment according to SOPs and preventative maintenance schedules
Load and unload material from machines
Package, case, palletize product
Monitor production, troubleshoot breakdowns and perform repairs and maintenance as needed

What You Need

2+ years experience in production, warehouse, or manufacturing environments

1+ years machine operating experience

Ability to read and follow work orders and instructions

High school diploma or GED

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Computer skills - documentation, data entry

Ability to lift 50lbs+ frequently

Basic math skills

Experience working in a food environment preferred, not required

Work Environment

Food-grade facility with strict PPE (gowns, hair / beard nets, handwashing)

Strong fumes – not suitable for those with certain allergies or sensitivities

Exposure to moving parts, airborne particles, and loud noise

Mostly solo work or paired with one other team member

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00 / hr.
