We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong background in complex and civil litigation. This role will require a high level of commitment, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of litigation from inception through trial preparation and trial.

Job Details

Responsibilities :

As a Permanent Litigation Attorney, your duties will include but are not limited to :

1. Managing all phases of litigation from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.

2. Drafting and preparing pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.

3. Conducting extensive legal research and analysis on various complex legal issues.

4. Representing clients in court and arguing motions.

5. Conducting and defending depositions.

6. Strategizing and developing case theories and plans.

7. Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients.

8. Communicating with clients, colleagues, judges, and others involved in the case.

9. Maintaining professionalism and adhering to ethical standards at all times.

Qualifications :

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following :

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

2. A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Litigation Attorney with a focus on complex and civil litigation.

3. Admission to the state bar.

4. Extensive experience with trial preparation and courtroom advocacy.

5. Proven track record of managing a large caseload, meeting deadlines, and prioritizing tasks.

6. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to make sound decisions and solve problems.

7. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain client relationships and work effectively with diverse groups of people.

8. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

9. Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.

10. Strong understanding and experience in depositions, discovery, pleadings, and motions.

11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
