About the job

As an integral member of our team you will play a pivotal role being a highly motivated individual with a strong passion for continuous improvement to lead daily operations and managing personnel within our factory. You will have the opportunity to oversee the flow of both new capital equipment and after-sales service items through the shop ensuring timely delivery production reliability and adherence to quality standards contributing to the overall success and growth of our organization. Currently this is an On-site opportunity located in Newburyport MA.

As a part of the team you will :

• Manage daily production activities to meet delivery schedules and quality targets.
• Monitor production progress versus plan and make necessary adjustments to achieve on-time delivery.
• Apply ALPS (Alfa Laval Production System) methodologies including DMAIC problem-solving to resolve operational issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead the implementation of ALPS and DSB (Digital Status Board) serving as the communication link between the factory / site and the ALPS Central Team (ALPS CET).
• Promote cross-training across machining welding and assembly work cells to enhance workforce flexibility and operational reliability.
• Ensure all equipment is properly operated and maintained to support production goals.
• Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for personnel and equipment.
• Conduct staff performance reviews and support employee development.
• Collaborate with management to provide feedback and develop strategies for workflow optimization.

You have High School Diploma or GED. Associates degree or higher is preferred. Vocational training is a plus with relevant experience and :
