We're looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Senior Health & Safety Specialist to join our team in Trenton, SC. In this role, you'll be an essential part of our commitment to safety, providing leadership and expertise to ensure the well-being of our workers and the security of our facility. You will play a key role in helping us continue to produce some of the largest and best tires in the world, all while being a part of one of the safest tire plants within one of the safest tire companies.

This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position with flexible work hours, either 7 : 00 a.m. - 4 : 00 p.m. or 8 : 00 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m. The salary for this position is $85,000 - $90,000 per year , with an additional 10% annual bonus opportunity.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Health & Safety Specialist, you will :

Lead projects and processes of diverse scope, working independently with limited supervision.

Coach and review the work of lower-level professionals, fostering their growth and development.

Support continuous improvement and automation activities to enhance safety protocols.

Use advanced analytical and technical problem-solving skills to develop new solutions for existing challenges.

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through effective communication and negotiation.

Perform other duties as assigned to support the safety and success of our operations.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Safety or a safety-related field.

1.5 to 2 years of experience in a relevant role.

Must be local or within driving distance of the facility in Trenton, SC.

Highly Desired Skills

Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.
