Forklift Operator

Join a dynamic team specializing in the distribution of fire sprinklers and supplies for fire protection and safety. As a Forklift Operator, you'll play a crucial role in the efficient handling of materials in our warehouse. This position is suited for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy working independently.

Responsibilities

• Handle materials efficiently by identifying, pulling, packaging, labeling, and verifying the accuracy of orders.
• Receive warehouse deliveries, maintain vendor relationships, verify, system receive, and place into stock all received materials.
• Pick items off pick list / ticket, pull materials, and verify accuracy. Package, label, and verify orders for shipping.

Work Environment

Work in a smaller warehouse setting without A / C, attached to an office with a team of no more than 10 staff between the warehouse and office. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 4 pm with a one-hour lunch break, located in Pompano Beach, FL.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pompano Beach, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
