What You’ll Do

As a Nurse Practitioner with Comprehensive Care, you will :

• Provide both urgent and chronic care to patients in correctional facilities or emergency shelter homes.
• Conduct comprehensive health assessments, physical exams, and mental health evaluations.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans for diverse patient populations.
• Perform outpatient procedures such as skin biopsies, laceration repair, splinting / casting, and more.
• Prescribe and manage medications in alignment with agency protocols.
• Educate and counsel patients on prevention, wellness, and long-term health.

Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and mental health professionals.

Qualifications

One year of NP experience preferred for NP II; new graduates may qualify for NP I.
