As an Interim Project Accountant for this Company youll play a crucial role in keeping their projects on track financially. From managing invoices and billings to providing accurate reporting and analysis, youll ensure every detail is accounted for. This role is hands-on, collaborative, and vital to supporting both their operations and leadership teams.
Location : Fishers, IN | Full-time (3 months minimum with a possibility of Full time offer), onsite
Schedule : Monday through Friday | Flexible PTO

What Youll Do
Review, identify, and process invoices and AIA billingsAssist with weekly check runs and monthly billings / draws across multiple projectsInvestigate project variances and report on opportunities for additional billingsProvide job cost reports to field operations on variances, projections, and analysisMaintain AP and AR vendor records as well as W9 documentationManage lien waiver process and storageComplete monthly General Ledger reconciliationsSupport the Accounting Manager in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts and budgetsParticipate in special projects as assignedEnsure deadlines are met for monthly closingsTake a hands-on approach in performing all accounting responsibilitiesExperience Needed
Bachelors degree in Accounting or 56 years of relevant experience with a minimum of 2 years in construction industryKnowledge of AIA documents and the lien processStrong general accounting skills and attention to detailProficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, with experience in Timberline or Spectrum Accounting Software considered a plus.Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills (both written and verbal).Energetic, flexible, and motivated self-starterMust pass a criminal background checkAbout the Company : This Company has been serving communities across the state of Indiana with high-end and community-focused development and construction projects since 1982.
