Job Title : CAD Designer / CNC Operator – Hybrid Role

Location : Mobile Alabama

Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM

Pay Range : $22 – $32 per hour, DOE

Benefits : Full benefits package available

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and creative CAD Designer / CNC Operator for a hybrid role focused on both design and fabrication of home and commercial décor items. The ideal candidate will be proficient in CAD design, experienced in CNC operation and coding, and comfortable working with a plasma cutter to bring designs to life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create precise CAD designs for custom home and commercial décor projects.
  • Program, set up, and operate CNC machines for fabrication.
  • Utilize coding skills to optimize machine operations and improve efficiency.
  • Operate plasma cutting equipment with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure projects meet design specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
  • Proven experience as a CNC operator, including programming / coding skills.
  • Hands-on experience operating a plasma cutter.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
