Position : Full-Time

Location : Richmond, CA

Salary : $187,000 – $210,000 per year

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 9 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM

Job Summary :

A community health organization in Oakland is seeking an experienced Director of Pharmacy to oversee its onsite pharmacy. The ideal candidate brings operational insight, team leadership, and a strong understanding of clinical pharmacy services within a community care model.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and evaluate all pharmacy operations while ensuring compliance and service quality
• Develop and maintain pharmacy policies and procedures in accordance with state and federal laws
• Supervise, train, and evaluate pharmacy staff to promote continuous professional growth
• Manage departmental budgets, contracts, and grants to support cost-effective operations
• Oversee medication procurement, storage, and dispensing of pharmaceuticals and controlled substances
• Serve as a consultant to clinical providers on medication therapy, formulary updates, and safety protocols
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, infection control, and organizational ethics policies
• Represent the department in leadership meetings and professional forums
