VCA Contra Costa Animal Hospital in Moraga, CA is seeking an Experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our one-of-a-kind general practice!

Compensation : $22 - $24 / hr

Location : 1025 Country Club Dr, Moraga, CA 94556

Hospital Hours : Monday Friday 9 am 6 pm, closed Saturday and Sundays to the public, but open for staff to work the boarding facility.

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team. In this position, you will support our Doctors and the Technician team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Duties will include :

• Providing compassionate care and a home away from home for boarded and hospitalized pets.
• Maintaining medical records.
• Filling prescriptions.
• Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
• Preparing surgical equipment, suites and surgical patients.

Position is full time, Monday-Friday 9 am 6 pm.
