Take2 Consulting is seeking a highly experienced Multi-Cloud Engineer / Architect (SME). This is a mission-critical, onsite role at Ft. Belvoir focused on designing, securing, and optimizing hybrid and multi-cloud environments across Azure, AWS, and on-prem systems. This position supports Zero Trust modernization, identity federation, and secure IL4 / IL5 cloud architecture implementation.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Architect, design, and implement secure multi-cloud solutions across Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments.
- Lead integration and optimization of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), AWS Identity Center, and on-prem AD.
- Develop and enforce IAM governance, Zero Trust Architecture, and RBAC across all environments.
- Create cross-cloud identity federation and SSO solutions using SAML 2.0, OIDC, and SCIM.
- Implement Azure Policy, AWS SCPs, Terraform / Bicep automation, and compliance guardrails.
- Collaborate with cyber teams to ensure alignment with DISA STIGs, DoD SRG IL4 / IL5, NIST 800-53, and FedRAMP High.
- Provide leadership in hybrid cloud connectivity, data protection, enclave isolation, and CDS patterns.
- Guide cloud adoption, migration planning, and modernization strategies for DoD systems.
- Diagnose outages, troubleshoot multi-cloud issues, and deliver proactive mitigation.
- Produce and maintain architectural diagrams, SOPs, and compliance documentation.
- Stay current on Azure Government, AWS GovCloud, and emerging DoD cloud capabilities.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with senior leadership on strategic initiatives.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Active Top Secret / SCI clearance.DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.12+ years of cloud engineering / architecture experience (degree may be substituted with experience).AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional and / or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.7+ years experience designing and deploying secure Azure solutions.Proven experience with federated identity, IAM, SAML / OIDC, and Zero Trust principles.Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, CI / CD tools, and automation.Familiarity with Azure Government, AWS GovCloud, and FedRAMP frameworks.Strong communication skills, including documentation, diagrams, and leadership briefings.Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.NICE TO HAVE :
Experience with Zero Trust implementation in federal / DoD environments.Knowledge of multi-cloud networking, enclave isolation, and CDS architectures.Experience with Kubernetes (AKS / EKS), DevSecOps pipelines, and container platforms.Advanced certifications : CISSP, CCSP, Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert.Experience supporting DISA, CYBERCOM, JADC2, DEOS, or Joint modernization programs.
