The Assisted Living Director (LPN or RN) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the assisted living community, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment for residents. This role involves managing staff, coordinating resident care, and fostering positive relationships with residents, families, and the community.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Management
- Supervise and support staff to deliver high-quality care and services.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Manage budgets, staffing schedules, and operational goals.
Resident Care Oversight
Ensure individualized care plans are developed and maintained for all residents.Monitor health and wellness programs to promote resident independence and quality of life.Respond promptly to resident and family concerns.Regulatory Compliance
Maintain accurate documentation and records for audits and inspections.Ensure adherence to licensing requirements and safety standards.Community Engagement
Build strong relationships with residents, families, and local organizations.Promote a positive, welcoming environment within the community.Qualifications
Current licensure as LPN or RN (required).Minimum of 2–3 years of leadership experience in assisted living setting required.Strong knowledge of state regulations and compliance standards.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Benefits
