Civil Engineer

AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineer (Hybrid) to be based in Orange CA. You will be joining of a global team of 500 maritime specialists who support on a wide range of maritime developments including container terminals LNG facilities waterfront developments cruise and ferry terminals marinas and harbors as well as coastal schemes such as beach development and coastal protection schemes.

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to :

• Undertaking design activities on maritime projects - container terminals mining / bulk oil / gas marinas ports and harbors coastal defense and development schemes.
• Civil design for terminals across the United States.
• Independently prepare engineering related calculations and develop civil technical specifications plans and details.
• Provides guidance to entry level engineers.
• Independently performs all the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works.
