Due to growth, CVS is looking for a Manager of Underwriting, Nation Accounts. We are looking for a candidate who likes to :

• Prepare and deliver complex new business quotes and / or existing business renewals for National Accounts segment.
• Support medical and / or dental products.
• Independently perform accurate analysis and risk assessment to produce sound financial responses / products in a timely manner.
• Assist departments with projects or workgroups, including process improvement initiatives.
• Anticipate questions and formulate responses.
• Apply underwriting guidelines and grants underwriting exceptions / financial variances within variance authority limits.
• Identify training gaps and recommend appropriate course of action.
• Utilizes advanced functionality of underwriting tools, systems, and reference materials to produce accurate quotes, renewals and / or accountings.
• Independently reviews work for accuracy, identifies risks and makes recommendations to manage risk while growing or retaining membership.
• Develops underwriting strategies for customers in concert with other stakeholders (sales, claims, customer service) by using knowledge of industry trends, economy, competition, and business objectives.

Education : The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

This is a hybrid role located at any of our hubs and is not available for sponsorship.

Anticipated Weekly Hours : 40

Time Type : Full time

Pay Range : $60,300.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
