- Administer and support all aspects of Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Intune, Entra ID / Azure AD).
- Manage user accounts, licenses, groups, and permissions.
- Monitor system health, performance, and service availability through the Microsoft 365 Admin Center and PowerShell.
- Configure and enforce security policies (MFA, Conditional Access, DLP, Intune device compliance, email security).
- Provide Tier 2 / 3 support for end-users, troubleshooting email, Teams, and authentication issues.
- Manage mail flow rules, spam filters, and phishing protection.
- Support migrations (on-prem file servers, Google Workspace to O365, etc.).
- Automate administrative tasks with PowerShell scripting.
- Collaborate with IT leadership on governance, compliance, and best practices for Microsoft 365.
- Document processes, policies, and procedures.
- Stay updated on Microsoft 365 roadmap and new features, recommending improvements.
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications CREDENTIALS TO BE VERIFIED BY PLACEMENT OFFICER
High school diploma or equivalent.Any one or any combination totaling two (2) years (24 months) from the following categories :A. College coursework which includes Information Technology (IT), IT Management, Programming, IT systems, or a closely related discipline, as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent :
30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)
Associate’s Degree (60 semester hours) equals eighteen months (18 months)
90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months)
Bachelor’s Degree (120 semester hours) equals three (3) years (36 months)
B. Work experience in IT-related functions, such as hardware / software support, programming, network design, network engineering, IT systems integration, or closely related field.
3. Based on position requirements, additional education, training, and / or work experience in the area of specialization inherent to the position may be required. Preferred Qualifications
Proven experience as a Microsoft 365 / Office 365 Administrator or similar IT role.Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune, Entra ID / Azure AD).Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.Understanding of security best practices (MFA, Conditional Access, DLP, compliance policies).Experience with hybrid environments (on-prem AD + Entra ID).Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and documentation abilities.Microsoft certifications (MS-100, MS-101, SC-300, AZ-104, etc.).Experience with migration tools (BitTitan, native Microsoft migration tools).Familiarity with compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.).Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
