Anchor Bar Restaurant : Hiring for Servers

Position Summary :
This position is responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality to our guests through genuine and personable conversation. Servers play a critical role in ensuring our guests have a positive experience at the Anchor Bar Restaurant. As the face of our restaurant, servers are responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position requires learning and sharing the history of the Anchor Bar while maintaining full knowledge of the menu and answering customer inquiries accurately.
Responsibilities :
Properly greet customers within one minute of being seated.Possess full knowledge of the Anchor Bar's history and share it with customers.Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Anchor Bar menu and bar menu, including the ability to answer customer questions.Use suggestive selling techniques to promote drinks, appetizers, desserts, and other menu items to increase check averages.Accurately take and enter customer orders into the POS system in a timely manner.Always write down and repeat customers' orders back to them for accuracy.Support all Anchor Bar Rewards Programs and Marketing Initiatives.Communicate effectively with the kitchen and bar staff regarding orders.Ensure all food and beverages served meet Anchor Bar's standards for quality and freshness.Verify customers' legal drinking age by visually checking and confirming IDs in compliance with state and local liquor laws.Provide professional and courteous service, including making appropriate menu recommendations.Assist other servers and team members as needed to maintain efficient service.Maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the restaurant.Thank customers as they leave with a genuine tone and smile.Inform the manager on duty of any customer needs or issues promptly.Collaborate effectively with the Front of House, Back of House, Management Team, and Ownership.Complete all opening, daily shift, and closing duties accurately as assigned.Perform any additional tasks or job functions requested by the management team.Qualifications :
