Sr. Android Engineer

Job Description

Insight Global is searching for a Sr. Android Engineer to join The Android team. This team is responsible for building and maintaining our applications for Android, Android TV, and Fire TV. The goal is to produce a robust application that delivers content that will delight and engage our audiences along with partners and internal stakeholders. We embody a team collaborative spirit, and work closely with various internal teams to engineer scalable solutions that can be shared across all client platforms. We are looking for a Sr. level engineer who is able to lead from the front, have their own unique engineering voice and passionate about what they do.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7 + years of experience developing consumer facing video streaming applications, Android mobile, android TV, Fire TV and more
• Experience utilizing Java and Kotlin for Android focused development
• Experience using Jetpack libraries for applications and Exoplayer for Audio and video streaming
• Experience with design and architectural design principles
• Your own personal engineering voice and interest in learning new technologies
