POSITION SUMMARY :

As a BMC Inpatient Pharmacy Technician, you will be preparing and distributing medications, operating and monitoring pharmacy automated technology systems, maintaining inventory, performing daily quality assurance audits, providing customer service, and maintaining pharmacy records. You will assists in training staff under the supervision and guidance of the Pharmacy Managers and Pharmacy Technician Supervisor to help further BMC's mission of providing exceptional care for all.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

Tasks

• Preparing product for use, including packaging, repacking, compounding, bar-coding, or any other manipulation.
• Performing medication preparation in accordance with law, regulation, accreditation standards, and hospital policy or procedure, including participating in a double check system for all preparation.
• Provides assistance with inventory control (receiving, stocking, replenishment) including : Receiving product (e.g. from wholesalers, direct shipments etc.) and stocking the product in accordance with laws and regulations for storage of product and in accordance with hospital policy.

Compensation Range : $27.32- $36.77

This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, and licensure / certifications directly related to position requirements.
