We are pleased to offer a variety of sign-on bonuses for eligible full-time positions : $7500 for Direct Care Respiratory Therapists with one year of experience (or $5000 for less than one year), along with an $1,800 student tax-free loan repayment per year. This position does not involve management responsibilities and will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.
Minimum Requirements
A graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program or eligible for licensure in South Carolina; senior students graduating in the next 3 months are also encouraged to apply.
Required Certifications / Registrations / Licenses
Applicants must be licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in South Carolina or be eligible for such licensure; BLS certification required. Those hired prior to June 2016 may hold Certified Respiratory Therapist credentials. New hires from June 2016 onwards must pass specific examinations within designated time frames to maintain employment.
NRP and PALS certifications are required for roles within the Children's Hospital and for working independently in NICU and PICU.
Additional Skills and Experience
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment is essential. Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills are also required.
