Key responsibilities CNC Programming : Create and refine CNC toolpaths using software like Mastercam for horizontal and 5-axis mills. Interpretation & Application : Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T to translate design intent into effective CNC programs and ensure tight tolerances. Machine Setup & Operation : Set up and operate CNC machines to validate programs and support production Collaboration : Work with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues and optimize processes. Mentorship & Leadership : Act as a technical lead, potentially mentoring junior machinists and directing other machinists on the shop floor. Continuous Improvement : Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimization.
