Global Service Resources  is looking for a contractorin Los Angeles.

Job Title :  Senior Application Programmer – Mainframe Systems 760

Location :  Downey, CA, 90242

Shift : Standard

Hours per week :  40 hours

Assignment type :  Temporary (12 monthsw / high chance of extension or possibility of direct hire with LA County)

Payrate :  $70-75 / hour

Responsibilities :

• Lead complex IT applications design, development, testing, implementation, and support for mainframe systems.
• Analyze and refine requirements, create prototypes, plan / design architecture, code / debug / maintain software.
• Design outputs, user interfaces, and integrate hardware / software.
• Test applications with customers, ensure quality, security, and compliance.
• Document programs, evaluate new technologies, and apply IT security policies.

Note :  You will not receive the same benefits as a direct County employee. You will be eligible for Health Insurance at a Discounted Rate and 5 paid Sick Days after 90 days of employment.
