This position is in Carlsbad, California, at our corporate headquarters or at our Las Vegas, Nevada, research campus. We offer a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office (subject to change), provided if metrics such as productivity and the quality of the deliverables are achieved.

We're seeking an Algorithm Engineer with a passion for solving complex problems in the world of gemology. This role combines technical expertise with creative thinking, focusing on developing algorithms for 3D geometry, image processing, and computational modeling.

As an Algorithm Engineer at GIA, you will :
You'll work side by side with GIA's Senior Director of Diamond Cut Research, Senior Research Mathematician, and cross-functional R&D, IT, and Data Science teams. Together, you'll push the boundaries of gemological science and technology.

Pay Range : $128,000-$166,000
The compensation range for this role is based on the employee's work location or the corporate location in which the candidate will report to (Carlsbad or Las Vegas).
