Location :  Hawk Subaru, Mazda, & Chevrolet – Joliet, IL

Union :  Local 179

Schedule :  Monday–Friday, 5 : 00 AM – 1 : 30 PM (½ hour lunch)

Starting Pay :  $19 / hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and reliable  Parts Driver & Counterperson Apprentice  to join our parts department team.

This position plays a key role in supporting daily dealership operations across  Hawk Subaru, Mazda, and Chevrolet .

The ideal candidate will start each morning performing a  dealership parts delivery run , followed by assisting at the parts counter as a  floater  between the three stores.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in both  parts logistics and counter operations  while developing toward a full counterperson role.

Responsibilities

• Perform morning dealership delivery runs, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of parts
• Load and unload parts safely and efficiently
• Assist at the parts counter with customer and technician orders
• Learn and support counter procedures, including parts lookups, invoicing, and stocking
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parts department and delivery vehicles
• Follow all dealership, safety, and union policies
