Machine Design Engineer
We're seeking a Machine Design Engineer with 35 years of experience to design custom automated machinery used in complex manufacturing environments. This role involves hands-on work with 3D modeling, motion systems, and component selection in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design custom automation systems, including material handling and assembly equipment
- Create 3D models and detailed drawings using SolidWorks
- Select mechanical components, materials, pneumatics, and actuators
- Collaborate with controls engineers and project teams
- Support machine build and commissioning
- Conduct risk analysis and ensure regulatory compliance
