We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our team in Columbia, South Carolina. As this is a contract position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the secure, efficient, and compliant management of both physical and digital documents within a manufacturing environment. Your work will be instrumental in maintaining document integrity, supporting workflows, and adhering to industry standards.

Responsibilities :

  • Organize, review, and maintain both physical and electronic documents to ensure accessibility and compliance.
  • Implement and oversee document version control and change management processes.
  • Collaborate with various teams to distribute and retrieve documents as needed.
  • Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of stored documentation.
  • Manage the indexing and filing system to enhance document search and retrieval capabilities.
  • Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards in document handling.
  • Utilize tools such as Microsoft Office Suite to perform data entry and document formatting tasks.
  • Monitor and safeguard sensitive information to maintain confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Provide support in document scanning and compilation to streamline workflows.
  • Assist in training team members on best practices for document management systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure document accuracy and completeness.
  • Excellent organizational skills for efficient document storage and retrieval.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with change control processes and version management.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for team collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Associate degree in business, technical, or project management field, or comparable administrative experience.
