Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant (EA) to join a growing law firm. This role is critical in managing the daily operations of the office and supporting attorneys and staff in delivering excellent client service. The EA will play a key role in overseeing workloads, improving organizational processes, and ensuring smooth business operations across legal, HR, and administrative functions.
This is a full-time, in-office position with standard business hours, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and delegate workloads among paralegals and support staff
- Manage individual caseloads and assist attorneys with case preparation and coordination
- Partner with leadership to implement new structures, processes, and best practices for greater efficiency
- Support HR functions, including performance management and improvement planning
- Collaborate closely with attorneys on both casework and broader business operations
- Contribute to office-wide organizational improvements and support long-term growth initiatives
Qualifications
8+ years of experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or executive assistant within a law firm or professional services environmentStrong ability to manage competing priorities, delegate effectively, and stay organized under pressureSolid understanding of legal office operations; personal injury experience is helpful but not requiredExcellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skillsProven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretionSelf-starter who can work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environmentBenefits
