Exciting Opportunity at MSK : We are seeking a Radiopharmacy Technician for our Molecular Imaging Therapeutics Service. The Radiopharmacy Technician is a technically skilled individual that assists Radiopharmacists.

Role Overview :

Prepare and dispense radiopharmaceuticals according to Standard Operating Procedures.

Tasks involve performing Quality Control (QC) testing on various drug samples, facility and equipment maintenance & cleaning, radiopharmaceutical package receiving and shipment, performing radiation safety functions, and waste management.

Key Qualifications :

High School Diploma / GED

Radiopharmacy Technician experience required (Minimum 1 year) strongly preferred

Pharmacy Compounding of sterile preparations (working knowledge of USP 797 & 823)

PET / SPECT Radiopharmaceutical handling experience preferred

Core Skills :

Outstanding communication skills

Excellent organizational skills for data and document management

Ability to adapt to a highly dynamic environment

A team player with a patient-centric focus

Additional Information :

Schedule : Variable shifts Monday - Friday, may rotate as needed.

Location : Main Hospital Campus, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY

Reporting to : Clinical Director, Radiology
