ACCOUNTABILITIES :

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING :

  • Create and manage strong relationships with clients and maintain the highest standard of customer satisfaction.
  • Create a cadence of communication to stay top of mind to assigned accounts / projects.
  • Identify, develop, and grow consultative relationships with key contacts with assigned accounts.
  • Track customer satisfaction in weekly department meeting.
  • Attend and assist with Annual Business reviews for specified clients.
  • Track, analyze, and report results regarding sales activity, and accurate monthly sales forecasts within assigned accounts.
  • Provide product solutions and specifications for budget development. Work with design on final deliverable.
  • Responsible for growing existing accounts.
  • Find gaps for product and service within assigned accounts.
  • Find ways to increase gross profit with existing customers.
  • Act as main point of contact for day-to-day business and strategize with sales executive on how to create growth.
  • Monitor organizational changes or realignments that may affect future purchasing behavior or decision-making within assigned accounts.
  • Understand the marketplace, market segments, and maintain an awareness of competitors within key existing accounts.
  • Maintain a current working knowledge of developments in the contract furniture industry and related products, applications, and design concepts.
  • Establish a regular cadence of communication with Senior Sales Executives regarding long-term account objectives and pricing strategies.
  • Manage assigned team workflows to meet client deadlines and expectations.
  • Maintain client software.
  • WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Business, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in account management, sales or design / project management in commercial office furniture or related industry.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, willingness to learn other systems and programs.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a well-defined business process.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks, set priorities, allocate time, and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
  • Resourceful problem-solving skills : ability to clarify the nature of a challenge, evaluate alternatives and propose solutions.
  • Professional communication skills and willingness to grow and invest in strong relationships with customers.
  • Willingness to attend networking events, out of state industry trainings, and customer events.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites.
  • Physical Requirements : While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop. The employee may occasionally lift and / or move up to 20 pounds. This position may require travel between offices, jobsites, and / or client locations, which may involve extended periods of sitting or standing, lifting light luggage, and adapting to different time zones.

  • COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS :

    The hiring compensation range for this position is a base salary of $75,000 - $95,000 with eligibility for bonuses. Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, and location, as well as internal equity and market considerations.
