PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST - BUYER FOR LOCAL PLANT

Zehnder Rittling is hiring a full-time (40 hours per week) experienced  SENIOR PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST / PLANNER to join our team. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented procurement specialist to manage the sourcing, negotiation, and buying / purchasing of materials, products, and services for our organization. The successful candidate will ensure timely and cost-effective procurement, optimize supplier relationships, and maintain compliance with internal policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Sourcing and Procurement :

Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers / vendors based on product quality, cost, and delivery time.

Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers to ensure reliable service and competitive pricing.

Work closely with department managers to understand procurement needs required to achieve forecasted sales.

Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational procurement policies.

Track inventory levels and coordinate the procurement of supplies to avoid stockouts or overstocking.

Identify potential risks in the procurement process (e.g., supplier instability, market fluctuations) and take appropriate actions to mitigate them.
